Personally Identifiable Information

"Personally Identifiable Information" refers to information that tells us specifically who you are, such as your name, image, phone number, email, mobile device ID, and/or any other information provided by you. This information is collected solely for account management purposes and is NOT used for targeted advertising or shared with third-party services. We take reasonable measures to protect user data using highly secured encryption on our secure servers. The amount of Personally Identifiable Information that you choose to disclose is completely up to you. The only way we know something about you is if you provide it to us.

"Personal information" is defined under the (Indian) Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Information) Rules, 2011 (hereinafter "SPDI Rules") to mean any information that relates to a natural person, which, either directly or indirectly, in combination with other information available or likely to be available with a body corporate, is capable of identifying such person. The SPDI Rules further define "sensitive personal data or information" of a person to mean personal information about that person relating to: passwords, financial information such as bank accounts, credit and debit card details or other payment instrument details, visitor details as provided at the time of registration or thereafter, and call data records. Information that is freely available in the public domain or accessible under the Right to Information Act, 2005 or any other law will not be regarded as sensitive personal data or information.

Data Collection

Grace LMS collects information about our users in two ways: by your voluntary submissions (for instance, if the school you are associated with signs up for the usage of our applications through the website and mobile applications to become a registered user) and through cookie technology. In addition to this, Grace LMS may also collect your location information using cell-tower technology for specific users. The information collected is used in a variety of ways: for internal review to improve the content of the site, thus making your user experience more valuable, to notify you of updates, to provide you with information you have requested, and to let you know about any related products and services. Grace LMS may use this information for contacting the user from time to time.

Consent and Compliance

By using our website and/or our mobile application, you consent to the collection and use of the information described in this policy by all our websites and applications. This privacy policy is published in compliance with Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000, Rule 4 and Rule 5 of the SPDI Rules, and Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011.

The information is collected for our applications and shall be retained by us. Such information shall only be disclosed under certain conditions mentioned later in this section.
